Specific Needs Fitness LLC ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. All information shared during training sessions, including personal health data, assessments, and progress notes, is treated with strict confidentiality. This privacy policy informs you about how we look after your personal data when you use our website or training services. 

 

2. Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following data: â€‹

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, date of birth, email, phone number, address.

  • Health & Fitness Data: Physical activity readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q), health history, measurements, weight, and fitness goals.

  • Session Data: Training history, workout logs, and attendance. 

  • Payment Data:  Credit Card information used for one time or recurring payments.

  • Website Data:  Every time you visit our website, some information is automatically collected by us and our third-party service providers, including:
    • From your browser or device – Most browsers and devices collect and share certain information, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, screen resolution, operating system version, internet browser type and version, and geo-location of the device.

    • Through cookies – Like many websites, we use cookies to enhance your experience on the Site. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or device to distinguish you from other visitors to the Site. We and/or our third-party advertising providers may place cookies or similar files on your hard drive to collect or track information about your activities while using the Site, including time spent on the Site, pages visited, and your relationship with us.  Most browsers are typically set to accept cookies. We implement appropriate technical security measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access or misuse.  We store client files, photos, or performance metrics in secure, password-protected, or locked locations.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary, for example, for the duration of our coaching contract, or to comply with legal/insurance requirements.

You have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data, as well as to withdraw consent for marketing. 

 

8. California Privacy Policy

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us have the right to request, once a year, free of charge, information about our sharing of certain personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.
